-Best functional dash cam currently on the market(and I've researched tons from the web and BrickHouseSecurity) - especially for the price. Basically this is a heavily trimmed down version of what many police agencies, buses, delivery companies, etc. use (like FedEx - they use a $2,000 4 camera version with DVR)
-Practical because it is portable(except the gps mount that 3M heavy duty tape makes it stay on the vehicle - hence, you can't use this really for rental cars. You can 'forcibly' use it on 'rental' cars if you place it on a sticky dash mat and have the dash side camera facing out with in car camera facing down, but it's realllly hard.
-Only way to remove 3M tape is by using a small knife and slowly cut around the edges. Hence, it's important to find a good spot on your windshield - and that's a tough job by itself.
